Came here for my first time in Rome . Massimo was very hospitable and helped us with anything we needed. He even allowed us to charge our phones after we checked out before we left for the train station. Definitely would recommend!

Before Corona we booked a room for 2 nights and could not enter due to Corona. We were then promised that we could redeem the reservation at another time. Now when we wanted to redeem this voucher, it says that we should have redeemed it 1 year after booking, which was not possible at all due to Corona. This voucher is therefore expired and we also got no money back. We were not told that the voucher has a validity date!!! Something like this is not acceptable and unfair. Poor service and not trustworthy. I would never book in this hotel again

Based on the reviews and pictures online we thought we got a great Deal. The location of the place is great as you can walk to the majority of Rome’s sights within 15-30 min. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. We had dead flies and spots of liquid on the wall, and random hairs around the place. We stayed for a week and the room did not get cleaned once, apparently due to COVID.. come on. The only thing that got cleaned was the trash can in the bathroom, which had spots of black mold on the ceiling above the shower. We dreaded coming home to the place at night, and only managed to fall asleep after at least one bottle of wine.. seriously though, please management, prioritise cleanliness and have Someone clean the rooms daily. Or at least make sure the rooms are spotless before new guests arrive. If you’re a student on a budget and only stay for a few days, sure, go for it. Otherwise, spend a little bit more money and get yourself a nicer place. Will not come back. Do not recommend.

Great little find, travelling solo I wanted somewhere that was in easy walking distance from everywhere. Quality in Rome did not disappoint. A warm welcome from Massimo when I arrived, who helped explain where everything is located. The room was lovely, good wardrobe space, a fridge and great bathroom. It was a perfect place for a sightseeing trip to Rome. Would highly recommended.

Not exactly a hotel but a good stay nonetheless

Booking online I thought Quality in Rome was a hotel. However, as we found out, it was not exactly a hotel but more of a rented room, with 7 rooms available for guests to book. Not that this is exactly a bad thing, but I was just expecting something else when I thought it was a “hotel”. It did not have on-call wait or service staff, nor a dedicated concierge or front desk staff. Basically, the only times we saw people there were when the owner met us at check-in and gave us the room and apartment building keys, and then when the cleaning lady was there to fix our room as we “checked-out” and merely left our room and apartment keys on top of the unmanned front desk. Be that as it may, as lodgings go, Quality in Rome is a good option to stay at as long as you aren’t expecting a full service hotel. With Quality in Rome, you get a very clean, comfortably-sized, almost brand new room, in a good location of the city, which is in between the busy, tourist areas around the Trevi Fountain and the area around the Roman Colloseum, a decent breakfast packaged with it, and for a fair price. A bonus was that the property is just next to Bibbo, a bag drop service. We availed of this service since we arrived too early in the day for check-in time at Quality in Rome but wanted to already explore Rome. We just came back later in the early afternoon to claim our bags back and then check-in to Quality in Rome. One final note, when making your booking on-line, note that their age cutoff for "children" is 6 years old, and not 11 years old which is the usual age in most hotels around the world. We made this mistake when making our booking with our 10 year old daughter and had to pay much more to have an extra bed added to the room.
